It’s Time to Spark Action.
Thank You.
Thank you for caring about our future, so much so that you’re using valuable mindspace to research candidates for your next MPP here in Markham-Stouffville.
Honestly, 2020 has been a dumpster fire of a year. Our small businesses are hanging on through no fault of their own, our health and care infrastructure are under constant threat from an invisible virus that has changed all aspects of our lives, and all the while our public servants and political leaders are making cheesecake, criss-crossing the province for unnecessary photo ops, and in some cases doing the absolutely opposite of what they’re telling us to do.
It’s frustrating. It’s anger-inducing. It’s disappointing. You’d have every right to feel helpless.
Here’s the thing. I’m feeling all those emotions, too. I can tell you that all those feelings only make my drive stronger to take action. I can be an agent of change. I can do better.
This is the start of that better.
Today is the start of a new year. I have decided to make 2021 a year to spark action, and that starts with launching my campaign to be the next MPP of Markham-Stouffville under the banner of the Ontario Liberal Party.
It is time to turn frustration into inspiration, anger into drive, disappointment into hope, and helplessness into action.
You’ll be hearing more over the coming weeks and months on what I believe in, what I stand for, and the concrete things I intend on doing as your MPP here in Markham-Stouffville. I intend on winning the trust of not just Liberal voters here in Markham-Stouffville, but all residents regardless of political stripes. I’ll do that through transparency, clear plans, and action that you can see.
In the meantime, if you’re still reading this, thank you. Thank you for supporting our doctors, nurses, teachers, and countless other essential workers. Thank you for the small kind gestures to keep people and strangers safe. Thank you for taking the time to care, to hope, to believe that we can do better.
It’s time to spark action.
